20 years of innovation
Marin's is a French company created more than 20 years ago by Sylvie Dugain and François L'Hôtel. As an advertising agency, Marin's created in 1997, in response to its customer's request a standard column, which combines an accommodating folding / unfolding value as well as an automatic opening to the appropriate shape and dimensions and allowing the optimization of print and material.
François l'Hôtel decided to protect his invention with a worldwide patent.
Since then, Marin's has chosen to be dedicated to the Lamà and its development whereas our competitors seem to be unable to develop anything other than counterfeiting our system.
The original concept benefits from a constant development in its sizes, shapes and options to offer an extensive range of smart and attractive products. The client's expectations demand that Marin's keeps creating new environments, new applications, and new designs in a constant willingness to defend its industrial property rights.
The concept will go over the borders: the whole world will fancy the French designed Lamà.
Elliptic shaped column display 1 or 2 sides; only available size 1m60 (5,25 ft).
The first Lamàs are manufactured and sold in France.
The first options have arrived: leaflets holder, ballot slot, and customized die cut of the top panel.
Marin’s is now represented in Belgium and Spain.
The Lamà is developed into various formats: Counter Display, Window Display and Floor Display.
The network now counts Germany and Marin’s introduce the Lamà in the US while exhibiting at professional trade show in New York and Chicago.
The Lamà is growing with the Maxi Lamà 2m30 high (7,55ft) !
The network is going out of Europe reaches USA, Brazil. As well as Japan and Hong Kong.
The Kangà Lamà, Counter Display that can hold a CD, and the Sherpà are born. For the first time, the Lamà is considered as a product holder.
The network is covering more of Europe with the United Kingdom, Ireland and Turkey.
Out of Europe, Marin’s Canada is opening its door.
The range is growing with new products that are the combination of different Lamàs together. The Kiosk, foldable arch, and the Panamà, foldable image wall, are now available.
The Lamà generates more and more interest and supports the extension of the network in Southern America (Colombia and Mexico), in Europe (Italy, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Ukraine) as well as in Russia and India.
The foldable table with automatic opening is designed which, together with other products of the range, enables the launch of the Marin’s Promotional Kit, a must have in the promotion at point-of-sale world.
The concept of the Lamà Module, a shelving system going thru the display, can glorify one or more light products.
New offices open their doors in Argentina and in Central Europe (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia).
Marin’s is developing new products holders: the Lamà Tablet (to glorify Product) and the Sherpà (simple or double) which in its new configuration can hold up to 4 kg (8,82 lbs).
The gravity feed option allows products to be displayed in bulk.
New offices in Saudia Arabia, in United Arab Emirates, in Maghreb, Chili, China and Taïwan.
Marin’s is offering the Tablamà : it combines the purpose of a Table and the visibility of a Column.
The Kiosk become adjustable to fit any spatial arrangement on the point of sales.
All the products of the range are available in Tube and Square.
Marin’s is in Greece and in Venezuela.
To the existing shapes come the ‘Triangle’, the ‘Rectangle’ and the ‘Half Moon’; multiplying combinations and adaptations.
Creation of the Lamà Crown
The Lamà is now 10 years old. This first decade has seen a fast growing network, focused on a unique concept which kept proving its superiority to the POS Market.
The LamàStock and the Mosso are joining the range of semi permanent displays. Wide communication surfaces, foldable, automatic opening and ease of set up are again the advantages of these new products.
The customized 3D effect is now possible with the ShivàNova (a go-thru added piece)
The Lamà goes GIANT with the Lamàousse : 1m (3,28 ft) wide and up to 3m (9,84 ft) high.
More and more options compose the range: Built in Pocket, removable lug on.
Marin’s is also represented in Southern Africa and in the Balkans.
The ‘Hexagonal’ and ‘Pyramidal’ shapes offer new fields for the Creation. The wide range, the huge variety of options, sizes and shapes takes the limit of customized communications at the point-of-sale far beyond usual expectations of the biggest Key Accounts.
The second decade of the Lamà at Marin’s is placed under the sign of sustainability.
Since its creation, the ‘fold ability’ that the Lamà offers, makes it easy to ship and store. In addition to this, the raw materials used for its construction make the Lamà a highly sustainable product by nature.
The TX range is joining the family of product holders. These new items are again foldable and open automatically. They can hold between 20 kg (44 lbs) and 40 kg (88 lbs) of products.
Marin’s is adapting its organization in the US by having 5 licensees.
Australia and New Zealand are now part of our network of licensees.
The Lamà Cascade is joining our range of Products Holders. The Lamà Cascade is foldable and sets up in seconds to hold and make available up to 25kg / 55lbs per display.
Marin's opens a new License in Algéria and Marin's Brazil opens its Cariocan office.
